About the Workshop

Step back into the 19th century and explore one of photography’s earliest and most elegant printing techniques: albumen printing. Using egg whites to bind silver salts to paper, this method creates prints known for their rich tonal range and smooth, glossy finish.

This two-day hands-on workshop offers participants a full experience of the albumen process—from coating and sensitizing paper to making contact prints with UV light. You’ll gain both technical skills and historical insight while producing your own handmade photographic prints.
