About the Workshop

This immersive two-day hands-on workshop introduces participants to Cyanotype, a historic photographic process known for its deep blue, iron-based prints. Participants will gain both a technical and creative understanding of the process, from coating paper with sensitiser and exposing under UV light, to washing and drying prints.

In addition to photograms and contact prints, the workshop will introduce toning techniques, offering a broader palette of expressive outcomes.
Participants will also receive guidance on working with digital negatives (not provided by the studio) and creating test prints for calibration and learning.
